Mini Egg Box Garden
Making a magical mini garden couldnât be easier! Follow Flower Belleâs simple steps to make your very own garden in an egg box, using super succulents!
What you need
Make Flower Belleâs Egg Box Garden
You need:
A small selection of succulent plants from the garden centre
Empty egg box
4 clean empty eggshell halves
Teaspoon
Scissors
Pretty ribbon
Glue
- Ask an adult to help you separate some small pieces from each of your sedums.
- Use the teaspoon to put a little bit of the soil from your sedum pots into the bottom of each eggshell.
- Carefully arrange a few of your tiny sedum cuttings in each eggshell - try to put a few different types in each shell.
- Place the shells inside the egg box and tie or stick a length of pretty ribbon around your egg box to decorate it. Now your mini garden is complete!
Parent note: Put your mini garden on a windowsill directly in the sunlight. Sedum plants like the sun, but donât need to be watered very often.
